What's it all about?
Marriage Prep is a premarital counseling service for couples who want to bring the same work ethic and dedication that has brought success and fulfillment in their careers and lifestyle into their relationship. It is designed for the overachieving modern committed couple planning to spend their life together.
Based on psychological principles it takes the science of healthy relationships and breaks it down for real life. You will discuss essential marriage topics, learn evidence-based relationship skills, and practice how to implement them with your partner.
What to expect
It’s common for couples to feel hesitant about premarital counseling. Our relationships by their very nature are intimate and private. You may have never sought out therapy before. You may be concerned that initiating challenging conversations could hurt your relationship. Our work together isn't about judging or evaluating your relationship; there are no perfect partners or perfect relationships. With compassion, understanding, and some humor sprinkled in we learn about your relationship together.
Marriage Prep is about learning scientifically backed strategies to make your relationship more resilient. It's about learning how to have tough conversations in a way that brings you closer together. It's about giving your relationship the strongest start you can and preparing for the inevitable challenges of loving someone for a lifetime.
